Welcome to Wetlands Lakes Specimen Lake — a beautiful 9.5-acre venue packed with character, islands, and features to keep every angler excited.

Our waters are home to a fantastic stock of stunning Common Carp, beautifully scaled Mirrors, Ghost Carp, and Koi. Each year, we carefully move the larger pristine doubles from the Match Lake into the Specimen Lake, ensuring a healthy and growing stock. You’ll find plenty of mid to high teens, with a good number of fish topping 20lb and even 30lb+!

You’ll also come across Pike, Perch, Tench, Roach, Eels, and Zander. We’re currently relocating the Bream and other nuisance fish to the Match Lake to keep the Specimen Lake focused on quality fishing.

We’ve created 10 outstanding swims — pegs 2 and 7 are singles, while the rest are double pegs designed for two anglers. Every swim is spacious, chipbarked, and ready for both day and overnight sessions. Each comes with a private, open-fronted hut, perfect for relaxing and watching the water.
